Consuelo Nava
Consuelo is Assitant Professor in Economic Statistics at the University of Valle D’Aosta (I). In 2014  she obtained a Ph.D in Economics – Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the Vilfredo Pareto Doctorate with a thesis in Bayesian statistics.
In 2009 she received a Master degree in Economics from the University of Torino and in 2007 a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Valle d’Aosta (Italy). She participated to the Allievi Honors Program at Collegio Carlo Alberto (Moncalieri, Italy). Her primary research interests are Bayesian statistics, stochastic processes and discrete choice models. In particular, her researches are focused on:
  • developing Bayesian semi-parametric and non-parametric statistical models to inference in probabilistic models with economical and financial applications;
  • constructing stochastic processes and latent variabile methods;
  • modeling consumer choices especially with Bayesian discrete choice models.
