Massimiliano is Research Associate at Brick, Collegio Carlo Alberto and former Marie Curie Fellow at the Department of Economics and Statistics, University of Turin, where he coordinates research at Despina Big Data Lab.
His research interests extend to the application of analytics to cultural consumption, cultural policies and regional studies. He is currently contract professor at Venice International University and Università degli Studi di San Marino. He has been Research Fellow at the ASK Research Centre (Bocconi University Milan) and for two years Visiting Professor in Culture and Regional Development at the Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. He has published different articles and book’s chapters, including papers on international journals like Journal of Cultural Economics, Pattern Recognition Letters, Growth and Change, European Urban and Regional Studies.
